When approaching from Gardiners Bay stay within the deep water channel passing west of Cedar Point heading towards Fl G 4s 10ft “7” passing east of Mashomack Point on the way. Once at Fl G 4s 10ft “7” head towards Fl R 4s 10ft “10A” at sand spit staying just south as you past by to avoid sand spit just north of this rock pile/channel marker. Immediately after passing Fl R 4s 10ft “10A” head north to Fl G 4s G “11” keeping a straight course and passing this buoy just south to avoid rock pile south of this course. Once past Fl G 4s G “11” head southwest to the Fl G 2.5s 4M “1SH” light at the end of the breakwater protecting Sag Harbor. Please hail us on VHF 09 upon entering harbor for instructions to navigation the short distance to Sag Harbor Yacht Club. We are located in southeast corner of the harbor very close to where the breakwater meets the land.
Via NYC: Take the Long Island Expressway east to Exit 70 (Manorville Rd. ?) At top of offramp make a right. Go to end (about 5 miles)and make a left onto RT 27 Keep going on 27, it will turn from a 4 lane to a 2 lane highway, keep going and stay on 27. You will go through the Village of Watermill - keep an eye out for a "HESS GAS STATION" on your left (it is the only Hess station that is on your left), you should see a sign - Sag Harbor 7 Miles- pointing to a left hand turn- make the first left after the Hess station on Scuttlehole Rd.. Follow Scuttlehole Rd. to the end and make a left onto Bridgehampton Sag Harbor Turnpike (probably no sign). Follow into the Village of Sag Harbor where you will go past a pond on the right as you enter town and then about 1 mile come to stop sign, go through stop sign onto Main Street - go to next stop sign (flag pole) and turn right onto Bay St. Sag Harbor Yacht Club is approximately ¼ mile on the left.
Via Orient Point: After disembarking from Orient Point Ferry, turn left onto Route 25 heading west towards Greenport. Turn left at the blinking light and Greenport sign. Follow signs for the Shelter Island North Ferry. Board Shelter Island North Ferry and cross to Route 114 on Shelter Island. Stay on Route 114 across Shelter Island to the Shelter Island South Ferry. Board this ferry to continuing on Route 114 through North Haven the roundabout and turn left onto S.Ferry Road, still Route 114. After crossing over bridge into Sag Harbor continue straight past Main Street flag pole and traffic circle. Sag Harbor Yacht Club is approximately ¼ mile on the left across from the American Legion.
